Paddling Across the Pool

Land pups cannot enter the Pool — until the pack learns Puddle Paddling. From then on, everypup can dog-paddle across water tiles at 2 moves each.

A paddling pup is busy keeping its nose dry: it cannot start a fight from the water, and it defends at half strength until it reaches dry land.

True swimmers (Dock Divers and the navy) are never slowed or weakened — the Pool is their yard.
